PNI's 41230 Bamboo Shoe, designed to fit 16 gauge manual 410, 411 or 412 Porta Nailers, is an easy change accessory that will give you professional results when installing 5/8 In. or 15mm Bamboo Flooring. The accessory shoe is also recommended when installing 3 /4 In. or 18mm metric milled solid wood flooring. The Bamboo Shoe's special design includes a shoe pad and base that will place the nail in the proper nail zone. Second, the contact of the nailer is now made up against the tongue of the nail verses the top edge of the floor. This feature not only provides for a positive stop for the tool but also helps to prevent damage to the factory finish as there is no contact against the top right angle edge of the floor. The non marring shoe pad and shoe base system makes contact on top of the floor as well as on the subfloor. This feature provides for a perfectly balanced tool that will not tip over and helps to spread the energy of the mallet to the subfloor.
